  • Terpel is mobilized by the quality of the education of the children and young people that will drive Colombia’s development. Thus, we have deployed since 2004 our main social responsibility tool, Fundación Terpel [Terpel Foundation.]

  • Today, under with the Al 100 x Mi pragmatic strategy, we seek improving the quality of education in Colombia by strengthening the basic language, mathematics, and leadership skills.

  • Our objective has been going into the heart of educational institutions, providing principals and teachers with comprehensive education tools that enable thousands of students to seize their abilities, values, and skills to change their environment.

  • We have benefited thousands of students and teachers in cities such as: Bogotá, Cali, Manizales, Bucaramanga, Medellín, Neiva, Cúcuta, Montería, Armenia, Buga, and Villavicencio.

  • Our vision is that, by 2016, we will have contributed to improving the quality of education of at least 25% of 110,000 students in 11 Colombian cities, in terms of their basic skills performance, and contributed to improving the results teacher tests of comprehensive leadership by 4%, promoting the development of public-private alliances.

Design the change

The objective of the “Design the change” program is to promote, among children and young people, tools empowering them to change their environment with creativity and innovation. This achieves awareness among them that they can transform their realities.

Volunteer Work

The objective in volunteering projects is to create shared value for Terpel and for society with an integral and comprehensive focus. We articulate social and environmental aspects in these projects, supporting thus the service vocation of our collaborators through their management and leadership.

Educational Quality

Terpel is moved by the quality of education of the children and young people that will drive Colombia’s development, thus, we are focused in supporting educational institutions in their curricular planning. Likewise, we enrich the methodologies and practices of teachers in the areas of language and mathematics. We also promote parents involvement in the process, so that they propose projects focused on solving needs identified in the education of their children.

The leader in me

In Terpel Foundation, we deeply believe that children and young people should take ownership of tools that enable them to develop their leadership. This is why we implemented “The leader in me” program, a project aimed at transferring a leadership management model based on Franklin Covey’s seven habits.
