Reconciliation and Peacebuilding Initiatives

As a Country Ally, we work towards reconciliation and peacebuilding to create a more equitable and harmonious Colombia. Through our Restoring Dreams program, we offer second chances to ex-offenders, victims, and former members of armed groups by facilitating their reintegration into society, providing income-generating opportunities, and strengthening their skills.

Since the start of the program we have supported more than 20 productive projects and enterprises across the nation of former members of illegal armed groups.

We are a Country Ally when we contribute to the most pressing communities and needs of our environment

Food Security

We partner with nonprofit organizations to help improve the well-being of the most vulnerable populations. By fueling organizations such as the Colombian Food Banks Association (ABACO), we enable timely and high-quality food delivery to those who need it most.

Health

We are committed to reaching those in need, no matter where they are. In partnership with the Colombian Civil Air Patrol (PAC), we donate 100% of the fuel required for their medical and surgical missions, helping them reach remote areas of the country and provide essential healthcare services.

At Terpel, we go the extra mile to reach underserved communities. As part of our commitment as a Country Ally, we develop and implement projects and initiatives to enhance the quality of life for communities near our operating environments. Through these efforts, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in need.

2020

Social investment in operating environments

We invested more than 182 million pesos in developing and implementing three community-led projects to generate new income opportunities for community members. The projects included establishing a community store, a fishermen's association, and a poultry association. In 2020, we initiated the first phase of our Social Investment program in Operational Environments at the Neiva supply plant with the "El Venado" community.

2021

Sebastopol Supply Plant

In 2021, we continued our community intervention efforts by launching the program's second phase, prioritizing the environment surrounding our Sebastopol Supply Plant in the municipality of Puerto Olaya, Cimitarra, Santander.
